When you visit the beach of Las Galletas you immerse yourself fully in the customs and daily chores of the small fishing village that gives it its name. Mixture of black sand and callaos, the beach is full of small boats that anchor in its waters and give it an idyllic image. Located about 15 kilometers from the tourist centers of Playa de los Cristianos, Las Galletas is a bathing area with a very local atmosphere, where you can see fishermen fishing near the jetty and buy fresh fish at the Fish Market. If water sports are your thing, the beach has a charming marina where you can practice all kinds of water sports. In addition, after a good bath, you can enjoy the great variety of fish and shellfish from the restaurants in the area. The beach is easily accessible by car from the South Highway, through several detours such as the one at Guaza Mountain or the one near the South Airport.
